I analyzed census, crime, and school data for Chicago city to identify causes that impact the enrollment, safety, health, environment ratings of schools. This Analysis is the final Capstone Project of the Databases and SQL course from my IBM Data Science Certificate. Check out the certificate right here: IBM Certificate.
The project was performed with the help of:
- Chicago data from Chicago Data Portal about: Public Schools, Socioeconomic indicators and Crime Data.
- Databases access from IBM DB API.
- I used SQL Magic commands to perform the analysis from Jupyter Lab.
- I applied my learning to a Real Word Dataset.
- I found relevant insights such as the most criminal and painful Community Areas of the city (Austin and Riverdale).
